Content and Niche Sites - 101

I know a few things about making niche sites. I have probably made well over 100 niche web sites for my clients. These sites are all tailored to certain keywords, and other high paying keyword terms.

Their sole purpose was to generate traffic and advertising revenue. There are a few simple rules you should follow each and every time when you are creating a high paying niche website.

Rule number one building a niche site:

Google has recently started banning content only sites if they do not comply with their terms of service. Mainly a site can not display adsense ads if it's sole purpose is to generate adsense revenue. There are a few ways to get around this, and they are good things.

- Add a opt-in newsletter to your site

- Advertise affiliate programs

-Sell a product or service

A great site does most of these things anyway. There are few places where you can get sites like these, but one of the best is Niche Site Special.

The Second Rule of a Successful Niche website

Every single niche site should be built with SEO in mind from the ground up. That means CSS should be used to make the page load faster, and you should utilize a proper linking strategy WITH IN your site to increase your page rank. Your keywords should be chosen prior to building your pages, and when possible should include the keywords IN the url. For example this url is 'niche_sites.php'.

The Third Rule of building a Niche Site

Last and finally a site should always be build with the end user in mind. Trust me on this one, if you can get your website to be "sticky" in your visitors minds, you will do great.
