Off Page Optimization- Yes, it's that important to SEO optimization!

Off Page optimization is probably the most important thing you can do to really increase your page ranking and soar up towards the #1 ranking at Google.

What is Off Page optimization?

The most important part about off page optimization is your incoming links. You want some consistency. Lets say your doing a website about SEO Optimization. What's better to have out there? Your website name or links that say "Easy SEO OPTIMIZATION"?

I will take the link that says my keywords any day of the week. And you should too! Chances are you are not a wealthy man and don't have thousands of dollars to purchase links.

How do you get your links out there? Here are some basic ways to get your links out there anchored to relevant anchor text.

1.) Write articles. If you can write articles about the content on your website there are a ton of places you can post them for free. Here are a few of them and reasons for going there:

Groupmarketingsolutions.com: This is a new site, still being worked on. But your article will get spidered by the engines quickly, they allow you to use HTML in your article, and your article will be in many e-zines that they publish. Some pretty big exposure for a few minutes of posting an article. They also offer a product review option. You get to enter in keywords, and a description along with a URL for just about anything....chances are you can handle this.

Ezinearticles.com: A high PR site that accepts ezine articles. Although this site is very well moderated if you have a good article you can get in.

Can't write? There is a secret "ghost writer" on staff at Stmadeveloper.com. It's not advertised, but they have a contract for their clients that they can pass on to you. They guarantee no plagiarism. Just go to the site and e-mail the webmaster and tell him what you want written. They aren't cheap but if you have been burned by freelance copy writers - it's worth it.

2.) Participate in forums: Many forums allow you to post a "signature", you can use your anchor links there. Some great forums:

And 100's more are out there, just do a search.

3.) Guestbooks:
This is my least favorite tactic. But many guestbooks allow you to leave a link.
